Take one vintage Jaguar pickup and pair it with a rwrp Jaguar pickup to make the humbucker. Offset the winding a bit for some fun coil-splitting options and good tonal characteristics. Stretch the original claw out so it wraps around the bottom of the new humbucker. Create a similar cover to the original that would fit over both pickups but give the effect of two bobbins sandwiched between the claws. If the string pull from 12 alnico V rod magnets kills the sustain too much maybe step down to alnico II. I'm sure SD could work their magic here to find the sweet spot. I think it would look cool and sound great offering single coil sounds that are hum canceled similar to the old Fender wide range pickups.
