If the tone frequencies can be altered by changing out the magnetic poles of each pickup for stronger, weaker or altered pole pieces, that truly would give cause to develope a purchase program that says, buy our pickups and swap out the pole pieces to resolve the tone you are wanting to get to. Stronger weaker, or in all circumstances, cleaner, dirtier, higher or lower harmonic alterations and the like. pole pieces are not very complicated as long as the pickup can stay together during the process. plus the additions of magnetic field, has a correlated additive or subtractive quality to how well it response to the gain stage or the overdrive pedals the many circumstances in the end result alterations.

I prefer blade magnet for ease to change and make sure it will not loosen by the rough use of guitar.

I'll say this a great idea but I don't see it being stage friendly. And dialtone pickups have something similar when it comes to tone shaping with your pickups but interchangeable magnets are not involved. I say yay because it'll give us tone chasers easier access to dial in that perfect tone
